Services that support the economic development of local producers:

JCFC extends sales outreach to new markets including:
Shared access to a comprehensive online marketplace offering retail, wholesale and institutional price lists.
A centralized inventory offers customers a diversified selection of products with customization of order contents, frequency, pick up locations, and payment options including WIC, SNAP, DUFB and Farm Direct Nutrition Vouchers.
Delivery of your product reduces costs and allows producers to invest more time in production.
Weekly farm stand sales at JCFC’s food hub.
Sales at local Farmers Markets with booth fees, membership, and staffing provided.

Producers benefit from sharing a pack house facility with dry storage space, refrigeration and freezer space, a warehouse staff for order fulfillment and distribution of product in addition to bulk purchase benefits of packaging and annual inputs.
2025 introduces a NEW shared commercial kitchen for added value product processing and access to an equipment lending library.

JCFC provides the infrastructure for local producers such as grant writing, community networking for increased sales outlets, facility management with required licenses/permits, monthly accounting and payroll processing for a shared staff. These services allow producers to focus on production while we provide the administrative support.

Educational programming focuses on the economic development of small, local agricultural producers. General topics include risk management, business basics (accounting/tax prep), production skill building and marketing.

Monthly newsletters, social media promotion, print advertising and event representation promotes our producers as the best source for fresh, locally grown food, cut flowers and animal sourced fiber.
